About the Author

Joe Joe the Dog Has Feelings was written by Geneva Wesley LCSW, M.Ed. She is a Social Worker and Special Needs Teacher in Northwest, Indiana, where she has been working with children for over 25 years. Growing up she learned to listen to others and be understanding as well as empathetic. Years ago, she came up with this idea to create a Superhero Dog that helps people deal with their feelings. She is excited about her first book and wants the world to read it. Geneva has one daughter, Jamiah, and a grand-dog named Joe Joe. When Geneva isn't working with children and their family, she is spending time with her own family and friends. She loves to cook for everyone on holidays, dance, sing, and volunteer.
